Mary Evelyn Kelso, 70, of Conway passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was born September 12, 1942 in Conway to the late E.D. and Doris Evelyn Houston.
Mary was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Vilonia. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren. Mary was a great friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by two sons, John Sturdivant and wife Sandi of Hot Springs, Jeff Sturdivant and wife Yvonne of Vilonia, a brother, Bob Houston and wife Grace of Monroe, La., two sisters, Betty Deaton and husband Jim, Diane Rousey and husband Bill all of Conway, and three grandsons, Ben, Sam, and Jack.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501-327-7727), with Bro. Ken Jordan and Wendell Holloway officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Larone Lowe, James Reid, Matt Grissom, and her nephews, Bob Deaton, Derek Deaton, and Mike Houston. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Soaring Wings Ranch, P.O. Box 1670, Conway, AR 72032.
