SETSER, Joseph Earl - Mr. Joseph Earl Setser, who had been ill with typhoid fever, died at his home near Cherokee City at about 11:00 o'clock Friday morning, December 1st. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.W. English of Gentry at the Falling Springs cemetery Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Many friends and relatives gathered at the grave to pay their last tribute to their friend and neighbor. Mr. Setser was only twenty-nine years of age at his death. He leaves a wife and four small children as well as many friends and relatives to mourn his passing. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family, some of whom are also ill with the same disease. Mrs. Setser was not able to attend the funeral. All arrangements were under the direction of Carpenter Brothers of Gentry.
