George R. Boucher, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died after a valiant battle with cancer on Saturday March 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, George V. and Vivian H. Boucher, and his oldest son, Jeffery A. Boucher.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years and the love of his life, Kay I. Boucher; daughter in law, Elizabeth Boucher; daughter, Bonnie K. (Allen) Austin; son, Noel H. (Ronda) Boucher; son K. Bruce (Becky) Boucher; brother and sister in law, Roger V. and Mary Jane Boucher; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

George spent 44 years in manufacturing engineering at Goodyear, General Electric and Motorola. He was an accomplished musician and spent 20 years as a dance band musician. He loved his horns and would often delight grandchildren and great-grandchildren by playing them late in his life. George was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM and funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Dave Ward Drive in Conway. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The Boucher family thanks Hospice Homecare, Home Instead Senior Care, and the staff members who tenderly cared for our father. Special acknowledgement and thanks go to Jeremy, Steve, Marjorie, Toni, Pam and Jessica.

In lieu of flowers, the family has encouraged a donation to Conway Cancer Foundation (2605 College Ave, Conway, AR 72034).
