Geraldine “Jerry” Garvin, age 76, of Conway, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
Born October 22, 1930, in North Little Rock, to the late Luther Hammer and the late Mildred Victory Washam of Conway, she was a retired nurse from Baptist Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Virginia Stanton and Linda Hammer.
She is survived by her siblings, Betty Ray of Weatherford, TX, Allen Victory and wife Ruby of Vilonia, Joyce Haynes and husband Doug of Hope, Norma Clendenin of Conway, Linda Parker and husband Ray of Conway, Sue Fulmer of Clearwater, FL, Virgie Boyles of Maumelle, W.T. Victory of Huntsville, Billy Hammer of Little Rock, and Gary Hammer of Mayflower; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Paul Parker officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Allen Victory, Eugene Parker, Ronnie Clendenin, Matt Russell, Roe Henderson, and Seth Parker.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Arkansas Affiliate, 904 Autumn Road, Suite 500, Little Rock, AR 72211.
