Mr. Carl C. Brown, age 86 of Mountain Home, passed away July 27, 2013 at his home. He was born May 11, 1927 to Clifford and Anna (Lundquist) Brown in Hammond, Indiana. He married his wife, Betty, on September 5, 1959 in Hammond. He was the west coast regional manager for the Fuji Film Company for over 20 years. Mr. Brown was quite the handyman, and liked working around the family's home. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, Mountain Home Lodge #1714 until 2011. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling especially with the Mountain Home Charter Service. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Brown, two sons; Terry Brown and Scott Brown and wife Samantha all of San Dimas, California, three daughters; Tammy Jo McCrory and husband Glenn of Yellville, Arkansas, Sherry Brown of Mountain Home, and Kathlynn Joel-Reich and husband Hazen of Galveston, Texas, a grandson; Ryan McCrory and wife Laurie of Flippin, Arkansas, and many other grandchildren, a sister Rosemary Lykins of Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Cindy Batson.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Roller Chapel. A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 from Noon until 9:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
