ROGERS — Lucille Elizabeth Deason Vick, 85, of Rogers died June 2, 2005. She was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Monett, Mo., to W.K. and Artie Lautitia Lassiter Deason. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Little flock and was a Sunday school teacher.
She was a former cook for junior and senior high in Rogers.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, playing the organ and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Veolin Vick in 1984. Her caregivers were her daughter, Linda Hook and granddaughter, Lisa Fine.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gayle Vick of Bixby, Okla., Bill John Vick of Little Flock; two daughters, Patricia Haynes of Collierville, Tenn., and Linda Hook of Rogers; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m today at Little Flock Cemetery with Douglas Jackson officiating.
Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
