Mrs. Hazel Z. Turvey, 66, Siloam Springs, died Oct. 7 in Washington Regional Medical Center. Born April 19, 1911, in Green Forest, she was the daughter of Henry and Eva Coxy McMorris and a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Colcord, Okla. She was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Lee Jenks, Wasilla, Alaska, and Earl Dean Jenks, Colcord, Okla; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Lou Sierks, Crayton, Mo., Mrs. Joann Creek, Minco, Okla., and Mrs. Reva Mae Chenoweth, Gentry; five sisters, Mrs. Eunice Moore, Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Jenks, and Mrs. Veta Chancellor, Gentry, Mrs. Willa Boyle, Cherokee City and Mrs. Bessie Fields, Kansas City, Mo.; 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in the memorial chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Tommy Haley officiating. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
