Lowell Teenager Killed In Crash

A Lowell teenager was killed Thursday night in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 412 in Madison County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Sharelly Espinoza, 17, of 412 Del Circle, was driving a 2002 Kia Rio. According to the report, the vehicle was eastbound on U.S 412, east of the intersection with Madison County 1650. The vehicle crossed the center line and Espinoza overcorrected, according to the report. The vehicle then left the road and overturned several times.

Espinoza was not wearing a seat belt. according to the report.

LOWELL - Sharelly Espinoza, 17, of Lowell died Aug. 18, 2011, in Huntsville. She was born Oct 30, 1993, in Ventura, Calif., to Fernando Espinoza and Maricela Mota.

She graduated from Rogers High School in 2011 and was attending the Beauty School in Springdale.

Survivors include her parents and two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Benton County Funeral Home, in Rogers. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

CC Note: Her sisters names are Leilany and Adahy Espinoa. She also removed her seat belt before the moment of impact. Her driver's door was the ONLY door opened and she had road burn on her ankles and legs.
