Verna Jacobs Faber, 89, of Rogers, died Nov. 11, 1992 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Dec. 24, 1902 in Sage, to Thomas Lee and Lena Ruth Turner Jacobs.
Faber moved to the area in 1916, from Ava, Mo.
She was co-owner of Benton County Nursery.
Faber was a member of Central United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughter of the Nile, past president of the Rogers Garden Club and had been chairman of the Community Dental Care program for the Altrusa Club of Rogers for more than 26 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jane Finley of Rogers; a foster daughter, Sue Driver of Los Angeles, Calif.; two nephews and two nieces; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bobby C. Bell.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
