SILOAM SPRINGS — Rose Konkiel, 84, of Siloam Springs died Dec. 1, 2002, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born April 27, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John and Anna Job Klag. She grew up in Cleveland and moved to Akron in 1945 where she worked as a cook for Marty's Cafe. She married Walter Konkiel in 1946, and he preceded her in death.
She had been a resident of Siloam Springs since 1986 and was a Seventh-Day Adventist.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Klag of Brookpark, Ohio, and Joseph Klag of Coply, Ohio; one daughter, Rosalie Crook of Gentry; one brother, Narcy Klag of Maryland; two sisters, Angela Swift of Seven Hills, Ohio, and Lillian Gelmas of Parma, Ohio; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
