Anice Clara Roberts, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Jan. 20, 2008, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 2, 1928, in Hammon, Okla., she was the daughter of Jasper Trent and Ira (Barker) Trent. She married Don Roberts on Nov. 11, 1945, in Thomas, Okla. She was a member of the First Assembly of God of Siloam Springs, where she was a member of the choir and had made nine mission trips to Mexico.

Survivors include her husband, Don Roberts of Siloam Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad Roberts and wife Janet of Siloam Springs; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna Owens and husband Max of Eads, Colo., Marsha Smith of McGeehee, Ark., Sherri Roberts and Michele Jackson and husband Tim, all of Siloam Springs; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ken Trent of Brownsville, Texas; and one sister, Ernestine Billings of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at First Assembly of God in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Gary Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Gentry, Ark., under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial be made to the Hunger & Thirst Ministries, 300 E Main St., Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

Donald Eugene Roberts, 93, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Donald was born September 1, 1928, to parents Clark and Bessie Roberts. He lived his life to serve and help others. He served at several food pantries,was actively involved in his church, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was self-employed and owned Roberts Earth Moving and D & R Trim.

He is survived by his wife, Reta Whitham Roberts of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four daughters, Donna Owens of Eads, Colorado, Marsha Smith of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Sheri Hoskins and husband Curt of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Michele Jackson and husband Tim of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Janet Roberts Hall of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and three on the way; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; late wife Anice Roberts; two sons, David and Brad Roberts; sister Marvene Caldwell; grandson Derek Long; great-grandson James Owens; and sons-in-law Jim Smith and Max Owens.

The memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Victory Worship Center in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. All are invited to attend.

The family will gather at 2:00pm, Saturday April 9, 2022 at Fairmount Cemetery for the burial with military honors.
