Patsy Ruth Carter McGahey passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010.

She was born February 16, 1942, in Conway, to the late Herman and Eunice (McFarland) Carter.

Patsy worked as a waitress in Conway for many years. She also lived in Grinnell, Iowa; Monroe, Louisiana and Dayton, Texas.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Johnson of Dayton; a brother, Sonny Carter (Marilyn) of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Lois Carter and Olene Carter of Conway and many nieces and nephews from Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa and Texas.

Patsy was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Cotton; and four brothers, Alton, Floyd (Bill), Clinton and Bobby.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Larry Grubbs officiating.

Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Loyd Carter, Larry Johnson, Mike Carter, David Carter, Jimmy Carter and Tommy Hues. Honorary pallbearers are James Chance and Tommy Hues II.

Patsy will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Michael P. Cotton, 46, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Conway, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005.

Born June 1, 1959, in Little Rock, he served in the Army and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Patsy R. (Carter) McGahey of Dayton, TX; one aunt, Betty Johnson of Dayton, TX; two uncles, Floyd A. Carter of Conway and William E. Carter of Des Moines, IA; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with entombment following at Crestlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
