Eva Nelle Farley, 84, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday.
Born July 28, 1923, in Bee Branch, to Jason and Thelma Ward, she was a wonderful wife, loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to those who knew her best as "Mom."
Nelle was a graduate of Southside High School in Bee Branch. For over 10 years, she worked at Baker Drug Store in downtown Conway. She taught piano at Southside Schools and later from her home. She loved to spend time with her family, traveling and camping and she loved to sing in the choir. She was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Nelle is remembered and loved by her husband of 61 years, Doise Farley; one daughter, Brenda Hester and husband Donald; and one son, Rickey Farley and wife Kathey. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kevin Hester and wife Melissa with their children, Drew and wife Amber, Ben, Alex, Colby and a baby girl on the way, Jason Farley and his wife Rachel and son Noah and Ashley Wilson. She leaves behind her only brother, Doyle Ward and wife Faye; and numerous family and friends in the community.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Daniel and the Rev. Edward Warren officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Hester, Jason Farley, Drew Hester, Ben Hester, Darrell Farley and Don Hester.
