Bonnie Kay Chafton, age 50, of Conway, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, at home. Bonnie was born on Dec. 24, 1962, in Washington to parents, Charlie D. Chafton Jr. and Betty L. Anderson. Bonnie was the second of 5 children. She enjoyed simple pleasures in life such as being outdoors, listening to music and spending time with loved ones. Bonnie will be remembered by her loving mother, Betty L. Anderson; two Sisters, Carol Lopez and Margie Chafton Pope; two brothers, Charlie Chafton 3rd, and David Chafton. Many nieces and nephews; and 9 step grandchildren from a previous marriage... Predeceased in death by husband, Lonnie Hegi; Father, Charlie D. Chafton Jr.; nephew, Dalton Chafton; and grandparents, Millie Wigginton, Charlie Chafton Sr. and Elsie Chafton.Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Crestlawn Memorial Park, with the Reverend Melbourne Hill officiating, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway.Please send the family your messages of love, comfort and support to Bonnie's online guestbook at www.griffinleggettconway.com.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Hutchins and his nurse, Nancy, at Baptist Heart Hospital; and Baptist Hospice; and a very special aunt, Patsy Bickerstaff.
