Ollie Mae Newberry, 86, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born in Naylor, Arkansas on September 1, 1928, to the late Otis E. and Eva Sarah Turner. Ollie was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as Chief Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Society, past worthy matron, past member of Business and Professional Women’s Organization, and a member of the board of directors of Conway and Faulkner County Inter-Church House Inc.
Ollie was preceded in death by her husband Bill Newberry. She is survived by her daughter; Tena Henderson (Mike) of Conway, one granddaughter; Sarah Loftin (Aaron), and great-grandson; Reed of Bryant. Ollie is also survived by two step-granddaughters; Shonda Knott and Andrea White, both of Benton, one brother Danny Turner (Delphene) of Conway, one sister-in-law; Nell Newberry of Conway, two nieces, two nephews, and many loving friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral homes.
