Richard Layne Tucker died December 9, 2012 in Palmdale, Calif. Born September 29, 1930, in Pearson, he was the son of Ida Jackson Tucker and Carl Weyman Tucker of Heber Springs.
He is survived by Charles Russell Tucker of Northridge, Calif. and Patricia Ann Tucker Pollard of Hermiston, Ore.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in spring of 2013 at the Olmstead Chapel in Heber Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heber Springs High School boys' basketball program.
