FEE, J.W. - Rev. J.W. Fee died at 8:30 Tuesday morning at his home at the southwest edge of town, the old H.C. Stewart place. Rev. Fee was in his 87th year and had been quite feeble for some time. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. U.S. Thomas. Mr. Fee was a native of Ohio and was born August 22, 1826. He went to Illinois in 1852 and was mar-ried the same year to Miss Lucile Parks, who survives him. They went to Kansas in 1870 and came to Rogers from that state some ten years ago. Deceased was an ordained minister of the Baptist church for nearly sixty years and the better part of his life was devoted to the ministerial work. He has been one of the most faithful workers of the Rogers church and despite his advanced years was until very recently one of the most regular attendants. He had many friends among our people and was popular with old and young. Mr. Fee was an uncle of Miss Laurel Parks of this city.

FEE, Lucy M. PARKS - Mrs. Lucy M. Fee died Thursday night, June 18th at 7:30 o'clock at her home in the southwest corner of the city corporation, the old Stewart place. Mrs. Fee fell several years ago and injured herself and most of the time since had been spent in an invalid's chair. She was 85 years old. Interment was in the city cemetery beside the grave of her husband, J.W. Fee, who died a year ago in March. Mr. and Mrs. Fee came to Rogers from Springdale a number of years ago but had lived there only a year or so, going there from Parsons, Kan. where they had lived for a long time. They were originally from Illinois. When Mr. Fee died Will Rainey and family from Madison county came here to live with Mrs. Fee, Mrs. Rainey being a niece. Mrs. Fee was an aunt of Miss Laurel Parks, having been a sister of her father.
