ELDER, W.S. - W.S. Elder died at his residence in the north part of town last Thursday at the age of 75 years after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the residence and were conducted by Rev. T.D. Penn. Mr. Elder was born in Missouri and came to Rogers in 1881. He returned to Monett in 1892, moving back to Rogers about four years ago. He is survived by his wife, a brother living at Columbia, Mo. and one sister, Mrs. Willingham, a resident of this city.
