Wife of Garland Lee Stewart
Jewell Wanda Steward was born on Monday, July 2, 1923, at Patterson Springs, Arkansas, to the late Charlie and Chaney Belle (Cowan) Arbaugh. She died on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, in Russellville. She was 85. She was a member of the Foothills Tabernacle and a homemaker.
Jewell leaves behind one son, Perry Dane Stewart of Salus, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Kimbriel of Oark, Arkansas; one brother, Dane Arbaugh, of Hartman, Arkansas; four grandchildren, April Roper, David Stewart, Tammy Jo Stewart, and Terry Stewart, three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Jewell is preceded in her death by her parents, Charlie and Chaney Belle (Cowan) Arbaugh; her husband, Garland Lee Stewart; one son, Garland Dean Stewart; three sisters, Elvie Cowan, Opal Stepp, and Lola Mayer; and four brothers, Little Buddy Arbaugh, Dean Arbaugh, Hoyt Arbaugh, and Alvin Arbaugh.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Buckhorn Cemetery, near Fallsville, Arkansas, with Reverend Clayton Rylee officiating.
Casket Bearers will be Terry Mooney, William Laming, Dolen Stepp, Ronnie Stepp, Robert Hull, Glen "Dito" Stepp, Glen "Dito" Stepp, Jr., Michael Stepp, and Alan Stepp.
