FUDGE, Louisiana STEPHENS - Mrs. Louisa Fudge, mother of Mrs. Frank Dorsett, Gravette, died Saturday a.m. She was 84 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon and burial made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Mrs. Fudge had been a resident of Gravette for 35 years. Louisiana Stephens Fudge was born March 26, 1845 and was married to C.J. Fudge in 1867. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.F. Dorsett and a niece, Mrs. E.D. Frazier, of Drexel, Mo. who she raised and loved as her own; also by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Moving to Gravette 34 years ago she joined the Presbyterian church under Rev. J.J. Dunham's ministry. Rev. Dunham, who is now pastor of a Tulsa church, conducted the funeral services.
