Helen Williams Robbins, 87, of Springdale died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at Regency Hospital, Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. She was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Brush Creek, the daughter of J.C. and Rae Brashears Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Oval Robbins, and a brother, J. Clifton Williams.

She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. As an accomplished weaver and weaving instructor, she enjoyed many years of weaving exhibitions at War Eagle and other craft venues. She was a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild.

She survived by a son, James M. Robbins and his wife, Charlotte Hobbs, of Little Rock; a daughter, Suzanne Ezell and her husband Richard, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Sue W. Stoll of Ann Arbor, Mich., Dorothy Maxwell of Little Rock, six grandchildren, Robin Forbis of Rogers, Stephanie McCall of Rogers, Richard Ezell Jr., of Tontitown and Benjamin Robbins, Samuel Robbins, Emma Robbins, all of Little Rock; eight great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
