FRAME, Lena Mary JEFFERSON - Mrs. W.E. Frame died at an early hour yesterday morning at her home on North Eighth street after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at the First M.E. Church this morning and, in the absence of the pastor, were conducted by Rev. C.W. Lester of the Central M.E. church. Interment was in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Frame is survived by her husband and a son and daughter. The family came to Rogers a number of years ago from Washington county, Kansas.

Mrs. Lena Mary Frame, whose name before her marriage was Jefferson, was born near Hubbell, Neb., just over the state line in Kansas, May 14, 1882. She lived there for nearly 30 years. The family moved here about eleven years ago and this had been her home since that time. She was married October 25, 1900 to W.E. Frame. Two children were born to them, Myrtle and James. Besides her husband and children she leaves her mother, two sisters, brother and a host of friends. She was converted in her youth and joined the United Brethren church. She remained a member of this church until her death. There being no church of this denomination in Rogers she affiliated with the First Methodist Episcopal church here. Her funeral was held from this church at 10:30 a.m. August 10, 1922, conducted by Rev. C.W. Lester in the absence of her pastor. She was a quiet, unassuming woman, a loving daughter, a devoted wife and a tender self-sacrificing mother. Mrs. Frame had been sick for quite a while and passed quietly away at 12:40 a.m. August 9th. Her body was laid to rest in the beautiful Rogers cemetery. C.W. Lester.
