FRASER, Hattie ADAIR - Mrs. J.A. Fraser died yesterday morning at six o'clock at her home on West Walnut street after a long and painful illness. Death was the result of cancer. The funeral is being held at the home this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. F.E. Dodson, who was called home from Conference. Mrs. Fraser was born at Booneville, Mississippi June 19, 1861 and her maiden name was Hattie Adair. She was married to J.A. Fraser in 1881 and to them were born six children, four of whom are living, three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Juhre, Misses Jefferson and Ardelle of this city, and one son, Kyle, who is also at home. The family came to Rogers from Mississippi some five or six years ago and Mrs. Fraser was best known to the people of Rogers in general through her success in growing chrysanthemums. She had a passion for flowers and had a large greenhouse devoted to that purpose. The fame of her flowers was more than local and they were shipped all over this part of the state. Mrs. Fraser was a devoted wife and mother and though the family has known for months that there was little or no hope for her recovery her death is a sad blow to all. They have the sympathy of the entire community.
