William Onvia Clark, 90, of Clinton, Arkansas, died, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1922 in Shirley, Arkansas to the late Dr. F.M. and Linda Clark.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 56 years, Frankie D. (Peel) Clark, two brothers, Joe and Otto Clark and four sisters Thelda Brittan, Faye Coley, Vesta Ring and Gladys Bonds.
He is survived by a brother Orville "Simpson" Clark and wife Bobby and a sister Francis O'Bannon and many nieces, nephews, loving neighbors and friends.
Bill was a graduate of Shirley High School and also served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer First Class during World War II, including tours in the North and South Pacific, Australia and the Marshal Islands. He then joined the U.S. Air Force until retirement in 1965 and served his country on all major Air Force bases in the U.S. along with tours in Germany, Tripoli and North Africa. His military service also included a role in the Berlin Air Lift, duty on three merchant ships and an oil tanker, along with time on the U.S.S. Hamakua and with the Navy Amphibious C.B.S.
After retirement from the Air Force, Bill was a diesel mechanic in Clinton. He was also a Baptist and a member of Clinton's First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Tom Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Bradley Cemetery.

Frankie D. Clark 88, of Clinton, Arkansas died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock, Arkansas.
Frankie was born September 16, 1922 at Clinton, Arkansas to the late Dan A. and Oma E. (Kinnamer) Peel.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, February 6, 2011 and Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 7, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Robby Sherman officiating.
Burial will follow at Bradley Cemetery.
