Paul W. Alexander, 65, 409 N. Willow, Fayetteville, died June 16 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Feb. 25, 1911, at West Fork, he was the son of George W. and Ella Wilcox Alexander, a member of First Baptist Church and Masonic Washington Lodge No. 1. He was retired, a 30-year employe of Arkansas Western Gas Co. where he worked as a computer system analyst. He had served on the Fayetteville City Council and was chairman of the police committee.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Islean Alexander of the home; one brother, John Alexander, Milford, Del.; several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will he Friday at 10 a.m. in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Garden under the direction of Moore's.

Memorials may he made to City Hospital geriatrics or to the cobalt treatment unit at Washington Regional Medical Center.
