Obituary
Minnie M. Whitehurst the daughter of Gus and Lena Wortham Campbell was born in West Pangburn, Arkansas on August 24, 1912 and passed away in Searcy, Arkansas on May 25, 2007 at the age of 94 years. She was a homemaker and a cook in restaurants in California and Searcy and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Searcy. She was a member of the quilting club at church and enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Whitehurst on July 10, 1982, her parents and four brothers: Fate, Fell, Dennis and Silas Campbell She is survived by two sons: Jerry Othie Whitehurst of Farmington, Missouri and Hugh Odom Whitehurst of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two daughters: Patty Ann Tharp of Pangburn and Mary Jo Southerland of Searcy and a brother John Campbell of Yuma, Arizona, ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren besides other relatives and many friends.
