Mrs. Viola Reed, 68, resident of Lindsey, Okla., died Wednesday night in an Oklahoma City hospital after an illness of four months. She was born December 29, 1884, in Washington County, the daughter of Alvis and Martha Gulley. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and attended the University, later teaching school for a number of years in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was married 37 years ago to Harry P. Reed.
In addition to her husband, of the home, she is survived by three brothers, Guy Gulley of Ely, Nev., Cap Gulley of Springdale, and Fred Gulley of Fayetteville; and one sister, Mrs. Earl Walker of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park.
