Earl C. Walker, 72, of route 8, died in a local hospital yesterday. He was born in Madison County March 22, 1893 the son of John and Ivey Hunt Walker and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include one son, James E. of Fayetteville; one brother, Van of Los Angeles, Calif. and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be a 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Watson Mortuary. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Earl Walker, 72, a resident of Route 8, Fayetteville, died Saturday afternoon. The former Gusta Gulley, she was born in Washington County Dec. 30, 1891, the daughter of A. A. and Martha Anderson Gulley. She was married in 1911 to Earl Walker.
Survivors in addition to the husband, of the home, include a son, Jams Earl, of Route 6; two brothers, Fred Gulley, also of Route 8 and Guy Gulley of Ely, Nev.; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in The Watson Mortuary. Burial will he in Fairview Cemetery.
