WHEELER — Denise Lynn Shadrick, 43, of the Wheeler Community, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her home. She was born March 20, 1968, in Van Nuys. Calif., to Ennis Stanley and Onita Mae Daniels Blankenship. She was devoted to the care of her family and always put others first.
She is survived by her husband, Malvin Shadrick of the home; three children, Monica Henson and husband Randy of Winslow, Melody Fuller and husband Jay of CoIcord, Okla., Derek Shadrick of the home; her father, Stanley Blankenship of Atlanta, Ga.; her mother, Onita Blankenship of Carterville, Ga.; a sister, Avis Grace Blankenship of Hogeye; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10;30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at White Oak Cemetery.
