February 11, 1917 - December 21, 1969
Chester McDonald, 52, of Texas City, Tex., died in a hospital there Sunday night. He was a former resident of Camden. Mr. McDonald was a veteran of WWI, an electrician and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonny O'Brian McDonald; two daughters, Mrs. Earline Lindsay of Lubbock, Texas and Mrs. Margaret Ann Bieker of Ft. Smith; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Poindexter Sr., of Camden; one half-brother, James A. Poindexter of Camden, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home until service time. (Camden News - December 23, 1969)
