SPRINGDALE — Charles W. Rohde, 85, of Springdale died March 12, 2008, in Springdale. He was born Dec. 2, 1922, in Topeka, Kan., to Charles William and Minnie Louisa Sherman Rohde.

He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a machinist, a welder and a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Springdale. His hobbies included restoring antique cars and street-rodding.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Eichman Rohde, and a son, Charles William Rohde III.

Survivors include a son, Tom Rohde of Springdale; a daughter, Joy Levik of Springdale; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Westfield Chapel in Springdale.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Louderback will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Pallbearers will be Tom and Garrett Rohde, Daryn Levik, Brian Wilson, Kendall Morgan and Woody Porter.
