GARNER, T.J. - Dr. T.J. Garner died at his home in this city, just east of J.M. Derreberry, on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock of typhoid fever. He was 68 years old. Funeral services were held at the residence on Monday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. J.H. O'Bryant of the M.E. church, South. Services at the cemetery were under the auspices of the Masonic lodge. Dr. Garner leaves a wife and eight children, three boys and five girls. Only one son, D.E. Garner, has however, been living at home. Two daughters, Mrs. Eli Key and Mrs. Isaac Morrison, reside in Rogers. Dr. T.J. Garner, Jr. of Helen, I.T. arrived Friday and was with his father when he died.
