Dorothy Bayley, 79, of Gentry, died Friday, Jan. 7, 1994, in Gentry. Born August 17, 1914, in Salina, Kan., the daughter of W.H. Elder and Una Elizabeth Norris Elder, she was a homemaker and a member of the Gentry Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was the wife of Sherman Bayley.
Survivors include two daughters, June Melton of Siloam Springs and Lois Morley of Gentry; five brothers, Darrell Elder of Gentry, William Elder of Yucaipa, Calif., Bernard Elder of Siloam Springs, Waybern Elder of Tampa, Fla., and Jack Elder of Decatur; one sister, Virginia Fullerton of Lincoln, Neb.; and two granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
