Obituary
Susan Grace Beard, age 67, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Heber Springs. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 1, 1940, she was the daughter of George Bradford Mills and the late Annye Elizabeth (McLain) Mills.
Mrs. Beard was a retired employee of Wal-Mart. She loved working in her yard, gardening, and crocheting. Her religious belief was Baptist. Mrs. Beard is survived by two daughters, Jenny R. Vaughn and Lisa Engel, both of Heber Springs; her father, George Mills of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Julia Lynn Gitlin and Nancy Fisher Mills, both of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, Andrew Engle, Brandon George, Cassy Davidson, Shelby Henley, Whitney Vaughn, and Katina Clark; nine great-grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. Mrs. Beard is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
