Donna Victoria "Vicki" Gass, 61, of Austin, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 30, 2012. She was born March 3, 1950 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Woodrow Wilson and Jessie Irene Honomichl Glass. She was a custodian for Cabot Schools and loved seeing the students grow up from year to year. She was very well liked by her fellow faculty members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Kenneth Glass. Vicki is survived by her husband, Hal "Gene" Gass of Austin, her three children, Kelly and her husband Richard Emerson of Cabot, Darrell Pettey and his wife, Polly of Ward, and Woody Pettey of Cabot; seven grandchildren, Colin Falls, Samantha Pettey, Vanessa Boudreaux, Kylah Mahoney, Valarie Boudreaux, Barrett Stark and Corbin "C.J." Pettey; and three siblings, Ronald Glass and his wife, Norma Jean of Lamar, Mississippi, Betty Patton of Sweethome, Oregon, and Stanley Glass and his wife, T.J. of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floyd Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816.
