John Wilbur Birch, 89, of Judsonia, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was born September 7, 1923 in Edgewood, Illinois, the son of Charlie and Carrie Birch.
John is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Diannia Crum and her husband Robert, Debera Maddox and her husband Michael; three sons, Randall Story and his wife Melinda and Ronnie Story and his wife Sissy, and John Birch, Jr.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Private funeral services for the family will be Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Gideons International to purchase Bibles.
