Forman and Lucille married on May 8, 1943.
Lucille Tucker Huggins, 85, of Cord died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, in Newport.
Born May 17, 1923, at Independence, Kan., she was the daughter of William and Ethel Mitchell Tucker. She married Forman Willard Huggins on May 8, 1943. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking. She was a member of Cord Baptist Church, where she was active in the children's ministry.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Eugene Huggins of Cord and Norman Dwane Huggins of Hot Springs; a daughter, Elaine Birmingham of Cord; a grandchild, Ryan Birmingham; a great-grandchild, Lane Birmingham; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Philadelphia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery under the direction of Jackson's Newark Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Junior Birmingham, Ed Birmingham, Ryan Birmingham, Denny Gipson, Adam Gipson, Rusty Ricker and Lane Birmingham.
