Teressa Elizabeth Carter Goforth, 59, of Springdale, Arkansas, died March 8, 2013 at the Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born February 6, 1954 at Clarksdale, Mississippi, the daughter of James Roy Carter, Sr. and Rea Childress Carter. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one son, Buford Lynn Goforth, Jr., one daughter, Samantha Ray Langley, her father and one brother, James Roy Carter, Jr.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles Lee Langley, Jr. and Sherrie Langley of Halls, Tennessee and James Wesley Langley of Mumford, Tennessee; three daughters and one son-in-law, Stephanie Nola Kirkpatrick of Springdale, Arkansas, Suzanne and George Edwards of Austin, Texas and Charlotte Leah Langley of Ripley, Tennessee; her mother, Rea Carter Potwin of Jordan, Arkansas; one brother, Don Carter of Hindsville, Arkansas and nine grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Monday, March 11, at the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Arkansas with The Reverend Jack McCarty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. on Sunday at the funeral home
