Funeral services for Dewey B. Hebberd, 55, of Springdale, who died Wednesday, were to be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Church of Christ here by Fred McClung, minister. Burial was to be in Fairview cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Henry White, George Smith, Leonard Preston, Al Gibson, John Mehaffey, and Jim Sizemore. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Couch, O.L. Dailey, Walter Miller, George Broyles, C.E. Johnson, and Frank Gibson.

Ora Oleva Hebberd, 97, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at the Fayetteville City Hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1897, at Washburn, Mo., a daughter of Andrew J. and Lizza Hall Schell, she was a homemaker and a member of the North Street Church of Christ.
Survivors are two daughters, Dolene James of Oklahoma City and Lerene Haines of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with John Gay and Steve Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Street Church of Christ Building Fund, 764 North St., Fayetteville 72701.
