John Lee Hawkins was the son of John Cicero Hawkins and Laura Louise Mitchell. He was born and died in Traskwood, Arkansas. He married Lily Anne Church on Oct 4, 1899 in Saline County Arkansas. (Marriage records say her surname was Manice but family records say Church)
