Roy Lee Bailey of Mountain View (formerly of Forrest City) died peacefully in his sleep Friday morning, July 20, 2012 at his home.
Roy was born July 29, 1940 in Tuckerman, the son of Roy W and Ola A Bailey. He graduated from Tuckerman High School and earned his degree in Pharmacy at UALR. While most of his career was spent at Best Drug Store, his passion was performing comedy.
Roy was proceeded in death by his father in 1996.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Deedy Bailey, mother; Ola Bailey, a son, Dennis Bailey (wife Jayna), 3 daughters; Tammy Halbert, Allison Stevens, and Stacy Leubner (husband Richard), 9 grandchildren: Amber Pendergrass (husband Jeff), Joshua Bailey, Ryan Halbert, Tyler Halbert, Justin Bailey, Bailey Aiken (husband Alan), Brent Stevens, Devin Leubner, and Collin Leubner, 1 great grandson Hunter Pendergrass.
Services will be held 2 pm Monday, July 23, 2012 at School Ave. Church of Christ in Mountain View, AR with Bro. Harry Riggs officiating.
Pallbearers, Gary Slayton, Tommy Cleveland, Ray Moxley, Reggie Harrell, Charles Ramsey and T.A. smith; Honorary Pallbearers Jim Adcox and Shelby Pennington.
Interment at Flatwoods Cemetery, Mountain View, AR. Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
