SPRINGDALE — Clint E. Buttram, 71, of Springdale died Aug. 30, 2008, at his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Alamosa, Colo., to George and Mildred Lawson Buttram.

He was an Air Force veteran. He was a salesman for 20 years with Acme Janitor and Chemical Supply and coached Springdale Youth Center football for several years.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharol Stem and husband Harve of Joplin, Mo., Robin Robinson of Springdale and Lisa White and husband Steve of Springdale; two sons, Alan Buttram and wife Susie of Springdale and Keith Buttram and wife Jennifer of Springdale; his sister, Terry Thompson of Kansas; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, online at www.heritageofnwa.com. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. His sons will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Samson Buttram, Alan Buttram Jr., Nicholas Himmelsbach, Andrew Girouard, Ken Matthews, Dan Owens and Remington Haingaertner and Sterling Haingaertner.
