Gladys Dobing, 89, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and retired as a sales clerk at The Grand after 13 years. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Parkin.
Funeral was in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith with burial at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville.
She is survived by three sons, Franklin D. Dobing of Hondo, Texas, Ervin "Pete" Dobing of Pocola and Kenny Don Dobing of Hackett; one sister, Faye Miller of Crossett; one brother, Calvin Irvin of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Carson and Jerrell, Jackie, Kenneth and Billy Gene Irvin.
