ROGERS — William A. "Bill" Vandervort, 87, of Rogers died July 22, 2004, at Innisfree Skilled Care Center in Rogers. He was born Oct. 13, 1906, in Kansas City, Mo., to James Earnest and Mary Craig Miller Vandervort. He served in the Army with the Ordnance Division 892nd. He moved to Bella Vista in 1977 from Grove, Okla., and moved to Roger five years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mable Vandervort of Rogers.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Innisfree Retirement Center in Rogers. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bella Vista Library, 11 Dickens Place, Bella Vista, 72714.
