GENTRY — Theodore Martin Conley, 87, of Gentry passed away May 23, 2011, in Fayetteville. Theodore was born July 31, 1923, in Ardmore, Okla., the son of Joseph Irl and Lila B. Lloyd Conley.

He was a WWII Army veteran that served under Gen. Patton in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from his position as a machinist at Mare Island Navel Shipyard in Vallejo, Calif. Theodore was a member of the Masonic Lodge 222 of Gentry. He was a storyteller. enjoyed sharing jokes and drinking coffee, and was frequently seen riding his powered wheel-chair, visiting around the neighborhood.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lavora Conley; children, Audrey Bradley, David Conley and Robin Conley of Gentry; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Cemetery near Gentry at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice, c/o the funeral home.
