Robert Max Coffelt, 73, of Gentry, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1992 at his home in Gentry. He was born Aug. 18, 1919 in Bentonville to Julian and Gertrude Jones Coffelt. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the local Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of WWII with high honors.

Survivors include his mother, Gertrude Salyer of California; one son, John Coffelt of Broken Arrow, Okla., one daughter, Carol Dixon of Siloam Springs; and one sister, Willard Ford of California.

Graveside funeral services are set for 2 p.m. on Sunday at Fairmount Cemetery near Gentry under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
