Linda Amelia Webb, age 90 of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday,

March 19, 2013, at the Southridge Village NURSING HOME IN Heber Springs. Born in

Jonesboro, Arkansas on December 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frank

and Vita Mae (Kirksey) Roberts.

Mom touched many YOUNG LIVES as a teacher. She achieved her lifetime goal to

become a teacher in her mid-forties and received her DEGREE IN Elementary

Education late in life, then went on to attain her MASTERS DEGREE.

She began her teaching in the Little Rock Elementary School system until her

retirement. After moving to Heber Springs she became a substitute teacher at Heber

Springs, Wilburn and Quitman elementary schools until her health limited her

activities.

She was an avid reader and never stopped wanting a "good BOOK to read". The local library was her favorite place.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn W.

Webb, one daughter, Linda Lee Webb, and one brother, R. J. Roberts.

Mrs. Webb is survived by one daughter, Judy Cooper of Heber Springs; four

grandchildren, Matthew Mahurin and wife Tracy of Heber Springs, Iamie Lee

Breeding and husband James of Conway, Laura Beth Adkins and husband Steven

of Heber Springs, and James Heuston and wife Kari of Bentonville;

and ten great grandchildren, Lucas, Piper, Everleigh, Jesse, Cooper, Mitzie, Austin,

Bradey, Jordan and Sean.

As a family we have many treasured memories. And as we gather together for her passing we share the remembered joys and laughter of her life.

Reflections of our Grandmother

The times of camping our in the Airstream, playing cards, games, taking walks, exploring, climbing Sugarloaf, cooking spaghetti, sewing, reading, working crossword puzzles. We miss you, grandmother.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30 at the Heber Springs

Cemetery at 11:00 am with Rev. CANON Tom Bradshaw officiating.

Family will receive visitors following the service at 54 Mossy Oak Lane, Heber

Springs.

Family requests memorials can be made to the Cleburne County Library.
