Husband of Bobbye Truitt; son of W. C. and Gladys (Dunlap) Truitt.
Pocahontas- John Franklin Truitt, 70, entered into eternal peace September 24, 2014.
John was born August 19, 1944 in Bono, AR to the late W.C. and Gladys (Dunlap) Truitt.
John was a loving husband, father, and papaw. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John is survived by his loving wife Bobbye Truitt, children; Beth (Jonathan) Ragan, Jennifer Truitt, Sarah (Jeremy) Presley, John (Melissa) Truitt. Grandchildren; Kristyn Ragan, Joshua Ragan, Miranda Halstead, Mia Presley, Braden Presley, Gage Truitt, Kiley Truitt, Caleb Truitt, brother Don (Nina) Truitt.
His is preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service celebrating his life immediately following at 2:00 p.m with Joe Kiser and Nancy Rainwater officiating. . Burial will be in Oak Forrest Cemetery.
