Obituary
Bernice Head Neighbours, 91 of Heber Springs passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born Monday, October 10, 1921 in Keota, Oklahoma to the late Columbus and Jessie McElhaney Hill.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Tom Head and David Neighbours; and one daughter, Phyllis Crisler.
Bernice truly enjoyed life and living. She spent much time gardening, crocheting, quilting, and providing a wonderful home for her family and in her younger days she enjoyed camping outdoors. She loved her family, her different pets who were her companions and she loved the Lord. She was a faithfull member of the Church of Christ.
Bernice is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Lemieux and her husband, Bruce, and Sue Haile and her husband, Arwood; one sister, Wilma Spears and her husband, Harold; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Chapel of the Heber Springs Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with interment at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
