Gerald Cagle age 82 of Dardanelle died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born March 7, 1930 in Quinton, Oklahoma to the late Corbett Cagle and Serea Stiles Cagle.
He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Dardanelle Calvary Baptist Church. Gerald enjoyed landscaping, hunting, fishing, listening to country music and watching the Razorbacks. Most of all he loved getting to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Burtle and Lee Cagle.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Barbara Reichelsdorf Cagle of Dardanelle; one daughter, Cynthia Kordsmeier and husband Steve of Sherwood; one son, Jerry Cagle of Bentonville; one sister, Wilma Twyman of Cabot; four grandchildren, Amy Clark and Husband Jeff of Sherwood, Steven Kordsmeier of Scott, Lance Kordsmeier of North Little Rock and Emily Kordsmeier of Sherwood; two great grandchildren, Carson and Cassie Clark both of Sherwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Bobby Loyd officiating . Burial will be in Caulksville Cemetery at Caulksville. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Cagle, Steve Kordsmeier, Steven Kordsmeier, Lance Kordsmeier , Jeff Clark and Everette Whitford.
